Roblox Egg Hunt 2015 - Eggs, Maps and Hats

Today Roblox posted information about the upcoming Egg Hunt 2015 on their blog. If you have not read it yet, then check it out by clicking the link below.

http://blog.roblox.com/2015/03/everything-you-need-to-know-for-egg-hunt-2015/

In this post I will be showing sneak-peeks as well as sharing my opinions on the event.

What makes this years egg hunt different to those of previous years is that the eggs will be hidden across three existing well-know games. These three popular games are Ripbull Minigames, Super Bomb Survival and Twisted Murderer. In the past, the Egg Hunt maps have been completely new games made by the Roblox games team. Personally, I preferred the concept of having a new map specially made for the egg hunt. This is because I liked the excitement of not knowing what the map (or maps in last years case) would look like. I enjoyed being able to explore a completely new map in search of rare eggs and making the most of the game before it shut down once Easter was over. This year I am not excited, as I already know the concept of each game and what they are like. I understand that the three game developers have updated their games for the Egg Hunt and that they will look different to how they normally do, but it's not the same as having a completely new map to explore. The picture above is a preview of Ripbull Minigames remastered for the Egg Hunt.

The thumbnails of the Egg Hunt games above give us an idea on what eggs to expect.

We still do not know the exact date that the Egg hunt will begin, it just says on their blog that it "kicks off next week". Considering it's starting so soon, it is slightly worrying that they still do not have an exact date.

No doubt Roblox will be releasing loads of items to the catalog (which will probably overpriced) that will give you advantages during the event and then be worthless after then, as they did last year.

The reason I sound so harsh to Roblox is because the company is becoming bigger every day, however for this Egg Hunt they have not even bothered to build their own map. I understand that they are promoting the whole "You Make the Game" thing and it's good that they are giving these young developers this opportunity, however I still feel that they should make the Egg Hunt more special by releasing a new map, playable for only the Easter season. This is only my opinion and I understand not everyone will agree with me, but I'm sure there are a lot of other experienced Robloxians out there that remember the old Egg Hunts and prefer them to this new format.

Little is known about the upcoming eggs, however a short video that Roblox posted on Vine reveals one of the eggs that we can expect to see, click the link below to watch it.

Despite everything I have said, this years Egg Hunt could still be really good, but I am just not as excited for it as I was for previous years. Stay tuned for more information and news about the Egg Hunt, as I will be posting on here again once the Egg Hunt is up and running.

Roblox Egg Hunt 2014 Egg Locations!

As you probably all know by now, the Roblox Egg Hunt 2014 has launched! Instead of me attempting (and probably failing) to write descriptions of where all of the eggs are hidden, I have found a brilliant game made by Flamey50 which gives very clear instructions as to where all of the eggs (even the fabs!) are hidden. The game is free to play, extremely well built and has nice little features such as a teleporter to the Egg Hunt and a play ground with working swings! Please favourite and like the game if it helped you and to support the creator!

Here is the link to the game: http://www.roblox.com/How-to-get-all-the-eggs-2014-EVERY-EGG-place?id=153603666

Have fun finding those eggs, there are only a few days left so get searching!

Hope this helped and check back on this blog for more updates!

Roblox Egg Hunt 2014 - Map, Eggs and Items!

It's that time of year again Robloxians! Time to put all your other favourite Roblox games on pause
for a couple of weeks and play Roblox's Egg Hunt game non-stop and collect as many eggs as possible! The game was open for a couple of hours earlier however it has been taken down for around 24 hours due to some issues with the game *cry*.
Anyway, when the egg hunt game is back up and running (which it might be by the time you read this article) here are some of the eggs you will have to try and find throughout all 5 (yes 5!!!!) maps.

(not including the sword pack, that came out of an egg basket)

There are some amazing and crazy looking eggs available this year as you can see!
As well as the eggs, you can also purchase a number of items from the Roblox catalog to help you find those pesky eggs!

All of these items (excluding the scarf) help you in one way or another to find the eggs. To find what each item does, read the description of each item in the catalog and choose which one to buy (I would recommend the "Rare Egg Compass" as a guide to find the harder and rarer eggs).

Each map is based on a different era of time, however at the moment little is known about what the 4th and 5th levels will have in store.

Also, not all of the eggs are hidden within the game. Some eggs are hidden around the site or require you to have a certain number of friends for example.
I will update this blog when the egg hunt is re-released and try to show you where as many of the eggs are hidden as possible!
Here is what the description of the game says:

"Lucky Lapin, collector of many rare and fabulous eggs, has been attacked by Rabid Rabbit, his evil counterpart from an alternative
Eggverse.

Rabid and his minion horde planned to kidnap Lucky, steal his eggs for themselves and escape back to their own Eggverse. But something went wrong... in their escape, the teleport device used by Rabid and his minions malfunctioned.

An unknown number of eggs are now scattered across the Eggverse, in different places and times; some even managed to sneak out on ROBLOX.com.
Where are they? Will you find them all?

Some are easy to find.
Some are difficult.
Some require individual cunning.
Some require teamwork.
Some are the key to being able to progress through the hunt.

Battle the minions, find the lost eggs, and make your way to Rabid's fortress to free Lucky and save the Eggverse. Time is short... but the rewards are great. The hunt is on!"

As always, thanks for reading and take care!
