Mine is to post more interesting blogs and make more Roblox videos. If you read through the comments on the Roblox google+ most people are saying that they can't script or build, just like me! That will annoy Roblox! More people play on games then create their own, which isn't surprising...

July 4th RARE gear for sale on Roblox!

All of the American readers will know that July the 4th is coming up, so Roblox have updated the catalog with loads of American gear items. Read the system notification below!

With the 4th of July rapidly approaching, we thought we'd take some time to create some gear for this week that has some patriotic spirit! Hope you like the colors red, white and blue. We don't have to hope you like dynamic lighting, however. We already know you do. Check it out!

Patriotic Sparkler: Show some American spirit with this sparkler, which shoots out red, white, and blue flares that are as festive as they are bright. The lights themselves have dynamic lighting enabled as well.
American Rockets 1776: While the sparkler lets you show your patriotism at ground level, why not show it at a higher level (literally)? Use this Fireworks gun to launch America-themed, dynamically lit fireworks into the sky that will explode in red, white, and blue flares.
Bald Eagle: Now we're talking. Unleash this massive bird and for sixty seconds it will fly around attacking your enemies with red, white and blue lasers it emits from it's eyes. Let me repeat that. This eagle will shoot red, white and blue lasers from it's eyes.
ChiefJustus Gavel: Bring the pain! This massive gavel has three attacks. First, click once for an over head strike. Click and hold the left mouse button, and your character will jump several feet in the air and do a super smash attack. And if you really want to do some ground damage, hold "Q" and you will spin the gavel in a circular motion, damaging anyone in your path

Rubbish Roblox update, charging players to visit games

Roblox have announced that they are beta testing a new feature where BC builders have the choice to charge players 50 robux to play their games. Once a player has bought the pass for the game, they can visit that game as many times as they like, however so many people have not even got 10 Robux so they can't go on any games which cost Robux. Basically, this is just an update which will give Roblox more money because little kids are going to want to buy Rubux, it won't help anyone. Roblox think it will help get the better games on the home page but that has already been solved with the new rating system. Here's what Roblox had to say:
Paid access gives ROBLOX game creators the ability to require that players pay to access their games. Think of it like selling a permanent subscription to a MMO — players pay once and receive unlimited access to the content. The benefits are myriad: you have an opportunity to generate more Robux, paid-access games will have their own category on the Games page (meaning another opportunity to rise to the top), and the feature further encourages high-quality content (players won’t pay for access to a bad game). It will also tie into our Top Earning sort, thereby diversifying the techniques you can use to get noticed in that list. The decision to take advantage of paid access is entirely up to the game creator.

So basically Roblox want more money, so they are considering charging players to visit games.

Roblox Mobile app update

Hey Robloxians, just to let you know that Roblox have an update on the app store for the Roblox mobile app. They have fixed bugs, crashes and added dynamic lighting, however some strange notices have come up on my Ipad screen when I launch a game and for some reason it said that the amount of tix and Robux were "Unknown". Anyway, before the update I couldn't even play a game on Roblox without it crashing so its an improvement at least.

Despicable me 2 on Roblox!

I've posted about this already, I know, but it is just so cool, I wanted to give you more information about Despicable me on Roblox. If you check your inbox on Roblox.com you will have got an e-mail from Roblox saying this:

So it seems that Roblox have collaborated with Despicable me 2, because if you click on "more" they have added a new link to the despicable me 2 Roblox page, with games, trailers and other things that
I don't really care about.

So that is quite good I suppose, but the best thing is the new(ish) despicable me themed items released! (The two middle items)

 

 

 

They go off sale in 10 days and only cost 1 ticket! The minion has already sold over 200 000 in 2 days! Crazy!

Catalog items off sale.

As predicted, all of the timed items released in a mid summer nights sale have been taken off the catalog, so the people that bought them have some rare items! Instead, for a limited time only (11 days) you can by your very own minion and minion goggles from despicable me for just 1 tix!!! Hey are to celebrate the release of despicable me 2 which comes to cinemas on 3rd July. There will be images shortly people, but you can just see them yourselves on Roblox.com.
