Roblox update their games page with "top grossing" feature

Roblox are trying to improve the places on the game page by creating a new category/sort of games called the "top grossing" like on the app store or google play. Basically, they will put all of the professional games on that page, like apocalypse rising, robloxcity etc. they want their site just to look more professional for new users and review companies. This is a good idea for users who want good quality games to find easily, instead of going through pages of games called "Ride a cart into..." or ".... tycoon" and other games like that. However, it could have a bad affect for new builders who build good quality games, but they might not get as many place visits because everyone is visiting the same games on the top grossing page, and so they wont go on the newer builders games, even if they are well made! Lets hope this doesn't happen and Roblox advertise a large range of top quality games on this new category!

Ocean day June 8th 2013 Roblox catalog update!

Yet another themed catalog update has been released today, celebration World ocean Day this weekend!

You should have received a System notification in your inbox, which gives you all the info of these new products! Here is a copy of it:

Squid Ink Bomb: Rapidly throws ink at your enemies which covers their computer screen, like the squid on Mario Karts Wii!

Seahorse: You ride this!

Harpoon: Catches small objects (or other people!) and brings them to you giving them 25 hit points damage per harpoon!

Winners of the Bloxcon poster contest announced!

Today, the Roblox poster contest results were announced on the Roblox blog. They are all so amazing and the winners posters look so professional! There were three winners of the competition, one for each location of Bloxcon 2013, along with two runners up. Enough of the talk, here are the Winners!
The winner of Bloxcon Chicago is..  Freaked!

I love that poster so much, it must have taken so much effort! Nice one Freaked!

The winner of Bloxcon London is... Hammer124

This is just as good as Freaked's poster! Well done Hammer!

The third and final winner for Bloxcon New York is... BlastOMan!

He even got to advertise his Roblox Character! That's him in the poster! Again, a spiffing poster, good one Blast!

So these Robloxians are the official winners of the Roblox poster contest and have all won: a virtual Roblox item, their posters will be handed out at the Bloxcon their poster advertises and they will receive their printed poster signed by the Roblox admins! And the two runners up for each city will also receive the virtual item! Great work people!

Not much happening with the catalog these last couple of days, a few old items have been listed on the Featured page, and one hat has been released.
