Roblox comment update

If you log in to Roblox and check your inbox, you should have received a "system update" from the admin, Chiefjustus. I'm sure most of you HATE all of the stupid spam comments on places and clothes on Roblox, often telling us how to get free Rubux or some other load of rubbish. So apparently, Roblox are updating the comment system, forcing you to verify your e-mail before you comment on a place or item of clothing. That's not all though. Later in the message, it says that Roblox are planning to make you verify your e-mail for other things on the site, however it doesn't list what yet. Here is a copy of the message:

"You know how when you go to item comments in the Catalog, or comments on places, and they’re filled with spam and scamming links and nonsense? Don’t you hate that? Yeah, we do too. A lot. That’s why starting today, a verified e-mail will be required to post comments on items and places. We are doing this to increase the quality of participation, and reduce the level of unproductive content.
This is the first area where a verified e-mail will be required to do something – but it’s not going to be the last. In the coming weeks, we’ll be rolling out a verified e-mail requirement for various activities across ROBLOX .

And besides, a verified e-mail is a great thing to have –not just to comment (or do the other things where verification will be required); it helps protect your account if you forget your password or have other account issues.

So what are you waiting for? If you haven’t already verified your e-mail, now is a good time to do it. While you’re logged in to your account, go to the “Account” link from any page and add your e-mail address in the “Account Settings” section. You’ll receive an e-mail with a link to click and verify. That’s it!

Thanks for being part of ROBLOX.

I hate all of the spam you get these days and I think that the verify e-mail idea is good, however I'm not so sure if it will solve the spam problem all together and I hope Roblox don't make you verify your e-mail for to many other things in the future. So please, if you currently write spam on Roblox, please stop to make sure this "verify your e-mail" thing doesn't take over Roblox! What do you think of the new update? Comment below! (and don't comment spam!)

Keep updated on here and on Roblox for more information!
