So a couple of days ago Roblox posted this on their Google+

Now, this post looks like it is MADE to annoy people who don't play Roblox and I think it will only start arguments for Minecraft users. Whether or not this is made to brag about Roblox against Minecraft or Lego, I don't know, however looking through the comments on the post, I can tell it's really annoying some people.
This is what Roblox said along with the picture:
"One reason the possibilities are limitless on ROBLOX: you never run out of bricks!"
At the end of the day though, Roblox arent lieing when they say this stuff and I'm sure they were'nt trying to cause arguments. Lets just let people play what they want to play and stop arguing over tiny things that arent even important!

Hello people across the globe! Not a lot of items have been put up for sale these last couple of days, however I shall still post the ones that have.

Not the nicest looking hat if you ask me, but it is designed to be a wizards hat. Looks more like a scare-crow to me!

Now this is a bit weird but last night these shades were on the "Featured Page" of the catalog, even though they have been on sale for over 6 months and aren't on that page any more... Don't really know why it was there, maybe the description was updated or somebody bought it for the first time in ages, I don't know! Anyway, here is its info!

Gift Card items and Catalog update 2nd June 2013

The following items are available if you purchase a Roblox gift card from certain shops during May 2013.

Description: I don't know where he went to med school, but I don't want him getting within two feed of me with a scalpel. Awarded to users who redeemed a ROBLOX card from Toys R Us in May 2013Price: R$2500+

Description: A couple years in a chemical dumping ground would make you radioactive too.  This item was awarded to users who redeemed a ROBLOX card from Sainsbury's in May 2013
Price: R$3500+

Description: How could something so conspicuous be a spy? Beats me! This item was awarded to users who redeemed a ROBLOX card from F.Y.E. in May 2013.

Price: R$30,000+

Description: He can smell those delicious bolts you have hidden in your car... and he wants to eat them.  Users who redeemed a Walmart card in May 2013 were awarded this item.

Price: R$220+

 

In a blog post, Roblox listed more shops that would allow users to purchase a free hat if they redeemed a Roblox gift card during May, however as far as I can see they have only released four.

 

Also, only the Bolt Biter hat is available out of the six hats in the image above. I'm not sure if I'm missing something here but that seems a bit strange to me.
Anyway, if you have any of the shops listed in the descriptions of the items above near to your house, it might be worth getting a gift card as the hats are selling at surprisingly high prices! Roblox are giving free new limited hats each month for people who purchase a Roblox gift card what will be available for June?

Quite a lot of Robux for a fairly basic hat in my opinion. I would sell it at R$400-R$600.

New famous Roblox staff!

Roblox have recently announced four new famous interns for their quest to make Roblox the best they can. Limited Item collector Merely, real name is Nathan Dean, his twin brother and creator of catalog heaven Seranok, real name Matthew Dean, 20 year old famous builder Stravant (xlegox) real name Mark Langen, and creator of the VIP shirts MrDoomBringer, real name Cliff Chapman.

(Anyone else notice that they all wear glasses?)
Cliff says that he's going to be working on improving the website, mainly the internal moderation tools as they haven't been updated in years.

Nathan on the other hand is working on a really great feature, to allow players to save their whole outfits so that they can easily dress exactly the same as they used to without going through pages and pages of clothes! Such a clever, yet basic idea and I love it!

Mark's project is an interesting one. He hasn't given out to much information yet about what he's doing other than he is trying to improve the Roblox Studios performance. He tells us that he's working on a secret building project that he can not tell us about (yet).

Finally, Matthew has attempted to make a Chrome Extension that allows users to get instant updates when catalog items are released or their price is lowered. He is also working on a tool that allows players to search through their Inventory easily and quickly using an asset ID.

Complaint about Shedletsky

One of the most famous administrators on Roblox, Shedletsky, recently updated his status with a link to a video on YouTube. The link was to a video called "Out of Bloxy Cola" by Sonicthehedgehogxx, a very well known Robloxian, which is a submission for the competition Roblox are holding, The International Film Festival Compatition. This is a really big competition with over 300 submissions and a great prize. The winning film gets their video published on the official Roblox YouTube channel, they win a Bloxy Award for their avatar and get their film shown live at BLOXcon this summer. ( Click here for more info about the competition) Now, Shedletsky has over 500,000 friends on Roblox who all might have seen his status. Since that status was released, Out of Bloxy cola has over 3500 views and is now much more advertised than any of the other film entries. I have nothing against the video, it's well made and looks really good, however I think it is completaly unfair for all of the other people who have entered the competition, they might feel like they have less of a chance of winning now, and everybody has commented on his video saying how good it is and saying that it's going to win. It would have been much better if Shedletsky had created that status after the competition had ended. That is all I have to say.
